Focus on the 2021 Pegases Ceremony
The 2nd edition of the Pegases Ceremony was rich of achievements for Plug In Digital. Two games from our publishing labels was nominees for the prestigious Pegases awards: ScourgeBringer from Flying Oak Games and Dear Villagers, and Paper Beast from Pixel Reef and PID Publishing. Every year, the French Acedemy of Video Game Arts and Techniques elects the best video games in each category: Best Game Design, Best International Game, Best Narrative Game, etc. The famous event gathers what the world video game has done best during the year, and awards prestigious Pegases prizes, after a long votes process.
The 2021 Pegases Ceremony took place on March 17th. This 2nd edition was a boon for Plug In Digital, which has seen many friends and partners be rewarded for their work. As one of the French leaders in the distribution and publishing of video games, the company has been chosen to be presented during the ceremony. To make this portrait video, the Pegases team went to Montpellier, France, to meet Plug In Digital, Dear Villagers and PID Publishing members and discuss their many activities, from producing to marketing. Through this interview, meet Francis, Guillaume, Stephanie, Emma and Benjamin, who answered a few questions about the different professions essential to the video game industry.
The evening was full of emotions, and we are proud to announce that Paper Beast received the Best Game Setting award. A truly deserved prize for the exploration adventure game which takes you into a dreamlike universe, in virtual reality as in the folded edition. Congratulations to the so talented Eric Chahi and Pixel Reef Team. Published by PID Publishing, Paper Beast was nominee in three categories, a recognition of all the efforts made over the years.
As a distributor, Plug In Digital also praises all its partners and friends for their work, greatly rewarded during this ceremony.
